Interscope is proud to announce the October 16th release date of Brand New’s fifth studio album entitled Vultures Over An Ox. The band re-signed with the label in early 2012. Frontman Jesse Lacey and crew named their new album after a poem by Rudyard Kipling, a poet whose influence flows through nearly every track on the album. With this release, Brand New has created a sense of nostalgia not heard on their other albums. Topics range from the deep history of Long Island to growing old while ignoring the hardships that come along with it. This theme is explored in great detail in the song In The Tall Grass, an epic acoustic track that many will find fits well as a companion piece to the classic song Soco Amaretto Lime. The first single will be Soul and it is set to be released in March.
